Onsite
  • Aqeedah

To form a strong foundation in faith and understand the concept of Tauheed, Islamic theology is taught in simple, relatable language, emphasizing Allah’s SWT attributes in a way that builds love and awe.
The implications of Tauheed are highlighted to show how it is manifested in our daily lives, our celebrations and entertainments, explaining the connection between our beliefs and actions.
Lessons in Aqeedah are taught to appreciate Islam as a way of life – not just a set of religious rituals as well as to address questions like ‘Why am I here’ or ‘What happens after I die’.

  • Environment

A Muslim’s responsibility towards the environment is taught in different lessons ranging from conserving water and reducing waste, to protection and rights of animals, eating etiquettes and avoiding israaf.

  • Interpersonal Skills

To build strong character, healthy relationships and a united ummah, students are given frequent classes on interpersonal skills. By giving them lessons on topics like conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, peer pressure, gender relations, communication skills and many more, we aim to boost their self-confidence, guide on how to handle criticism and express themselves respectfully, and basically just reduce drama and increase peace in relationships.

  • Islam & Science

The fact that Islam encourages seeking knowledge and reflecting upon Allah’s SWT creation, is highlighted in topics under this category. Students are taught how Muslim scientists pioneered scientific fields, that there is no conflict between faith and reason, how Tauheed supports scientific progress and that both Islam & Science work together to deepen belief in the Creator.

  • Muslim Heros

The lives of real people leave a great impact esp in today’s times of following ‘influencers’. Teaching about Muslim heroes from different Islamic eras, cultures and ages not only highlights their contributions for Islam, but their struggles, victories, and drive to pursue their goals sticks better than abstract lessons. By giving glimpses of these amazing personalities, we aim not only to remind the youth that we are part of a legacy of excellence, but also to connect them with their roots while inspiring them to shape the future.

  • Popular Culture

Lessons under this category involve helping the teens navigate media, trends, celebrations, societal norms, gender issues etc through an Islamic lens. The Quran & Sunnah are used as a criterion for halal vs haram, establishing moral boundaries and helping find halal alternatives.
Students are encouraged to critically analyze pop culture and its implications on personal goals, spiritual growth and the pressure to fit in.

  • Scripture

Brief study of short Quranic surahs are introduced in younger modules through innovative activities to drive home the lessons. As modules progress, so does the depth of the study of surahs, eventually leading to full-fledged study of tafseer in older modules.
A series of detailed classes on Haya and Hijab is taught with evidence from Surah An-Noor and Surah Al-Ahzaab covering every popular misconception, media hype and blatant propaganda about the Islamic concept of modesty and rulings of the Islamic dress code.

  • Tazkiyah

Lessons on tazkya are focused on dealing with everyday struggles of the heart and spiritual diseases like jealousy, anger, bullying, arrogance etc. These are taught to encourage reflection & self assessment and made as relevant to their lives as possible.

  • Worship

Our approach to teaching students about worship is to make it meaningful, relatable, and rooted in love for Allah SWT. Topics range from tauba, shukr, dua, fasting to name a few. Great emphasis is laid on teaching Salah.
For Module 1, lessons on Salah are curated in a series of detailed classes which are taught throughout the year. These lessons start from maarifah of Allah SWT to instill His love and form connection with Him. Taharah is discussed in detail – starting from the importance of Taharah in Islam to oral and physical hygiene, from grooming to ritual ablution and bathing. Practical demonstration is done of wudhu with less than 250ml of water as well as each position and wordings of prayer.
