The example of those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah is that of a grain that sprouts into seven ears, each bearing one hundred grains. And Allah multiplies หนthe reward even moreหบ to whoever He wills. For Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing. (Al-Baqarah: 261)
Compassion, giving, philanthropy โ are weaved in the ethos of the deen of Islam.
What is Sanaabil?
Sanaabil, literally means โears of cornโ or โgrains.โ
It embodies the essence of abundance and sustenance.
It is a testament of the principle that every individual deserves nourishment of the body, mind, and soul
Our Goal
ย To preserve human dignity and provide equal opportunity for building prosperous and healthy lives for all โ regardless of their socio-economic situation, and political or religious beliefs.
Our Objectives

Education is the key to unlocking the potential that lies dormant within every individual.
Our role: Providing/facilitating educational opportunities, vocational trainings, scholarships, and resources for children and adults through Zakaat.

Food scarcity is the basis of stunted physical, psychological and emotional growth.
Our role: Providing nutritious meals, food assistance programs, and sustainable solutions to hunger-related challenges.
“And they give foodโdespite their desire for itโto the poor, the orphan, and the captive, หนsaying,หบ โWe feed you only for the sake of Allah, seeking neither reward nor thanks from you.”
(Surah Al-Insan 76:8-9)Health
A healthy body is the foundation of a productive life.
Our role:ย Ensuring access to essential healthcare services, medical treatments, and preventive care.
“And when I am ill, it is He (Allah) who cures me.”
(Surah Ash-Shu’ara 26:80)Shelter
Shelter is a basic human need that provides safety & security from external elements.
Our Role: Providing essential house repairs and other assistance for vulnerable families.
“And Allah has made for you from your homes a place of rest…” (Surah An-Nahl 16:80)
Clothing
Proper clothing provides covering, warmth, dignity and sense of well-being to a person.
Our Role: Ensuring access to essential apparel, offering practical support by distributing quality clothing.
“O Children of Adam! We have bestowed upon you clothing to conceal your private parts and as adornment. But the clothing of righteousness is best.”
(Surah Al-A’raf 7:26)Community Service
We strive to make a tangible difference in the lives of the underprivileged within our community at a macro level as well.
Our Role: From providing access to basic necessities like water and educational resources to offering skill-building programs and emotional support, our efforts are focused on uplifting families facing hardship and institutions needing support. These are non-zakaat (sadqaat) initiatives.
“And they ask you about what they should spend. Say, โThe excess (beyond your needs).โ Thus Allah makes clear to you the verses that you might give thought.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:219)
